On May 5th, we are inaugurating a unique, multi-faceted exhibition resulting from an international youth study exchange. Young participants from various countries delved into the research of sensitive and complex themes of past war crimes; the Slovenian portion of the research was facilitated by our Uroš Dokl and the Youth Council of Slovenia. In addition to Slovenia, research was conducted in other partner nations, culminating in a comprehensive project that spans from the remembrance of Srebrenica and tragic events in Hungary to the Camp des Milles concentration camp, the Nuremberg trials, deportations from Poland, and the lives and destinies of resistance fighters. Alongside the visual exhibition, the participants produced a podcast series in which they reflected on their thoughts, emotions, and insights regarding these dark chapters of history.

Their goal is not only to preserve memory, but to actively prevent oblivion and encourage critical thinking among their peers.

Join us for the opening and support the voice of young people who look to the past to build a better future.
