In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the fall of the Pohorje Battalion, the Maribor National Liberation Museum set up an exhibition entitled “The Pohorje Legend” in the museum park in 2018.
The exhibition offers a unique experience, especially in the evening hours, when visitors explore it by lantern light amidst the coniferous trees and woods that symbolize the battalion’s last battlefield with its tragic end on January 8, 1943.
Portraits of the Pohorje Battalion fighters are presented on the exhibition panels.
